16% Beef Grower Ration (Medicated)
For Beef Cattle on Pasture
Feed A&M 16% Beef Grower Ration to grow, condition and finish show animals. It is medicated with 25 grams of Monensin per ton. Switch to A&M 12% Beef Grower Ration or A&M 10% Beef Finisher Ration depending on the desired finished weight.
Medication Purpose: For increased rate of weight gain in slaughter, stocker and feeder cattle and beef and dairy replacement heifers weighing more than 400 lbs grazing on pasture.

Feeding Directions
Each pound of A&M 16% Beef Grower Ration will provide 12.5 mg of Monensin sodium. Feed continuously at the rate of not less then 4 pounds nor more than 16 pounds per head per day to provide 50 mg to 200 mg of Monensin. During the first five days of feeding, cattle should receive no more than 100 mg per head per day.
Caution: Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions as reduced average daily gains may result. Do not allow horses or other equines access to formulation containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal.
